Duncan is a business operator and advisor, specialising in the fast moving world of hospitality, hotels and retail. Growing up in Sydney, he was exposed to some of the finest food in the world which let his passion for restaurants flourish and him to go on to build an award winning business. Moving to the UK broadened his experience further; He ran high profile, high turnover businesses for Tate Galleries and the iconic British Restaurant company, Searcys.
Duncan has vast experience in the world of hotels working with national and international brands. His focus has been the development of exceptional, individual restaurants and vibrant branded concepts targeted to increase footfall, financial performance and enhance reputation.
His drive for customer service excellence, brand development and innovative design led to opportunities and experience in Retail businesses. He has undertaken eye-catching projects with Westfield, the V&A and on-line portal CultureLabel.
Duncan has extensive experience in the cultural sector having worked with world class Galleries, Theatres and Museums on the development and management of their commercial operations. This includes working alongside design teams from the early stages of projects, planning and defining the scope and ambition of Restaurants, Cafes, Event Spaces and Retail shops.
