Featuring built-in connecting strips, ONE allows for quick and simple fitting.

The ONE series is tailor-made for modern fast turnover ‘quick service restaurants’ that need a short-term investment return but who still require powerful, robust and reliable equipment that caters for a wide menu choice.

Offering payback for operators in 5-7 years, Charvet One is built to Charvet’s exacting standards and offers a powerful, competitively priced, simple to install and maintain cooking range that is suited to making island, wall or peninsular suites, or as a stand-alone range.

“Technical improvements in CAD design and manufacturing production techniques allow for much more precise engineering, which cuts the amount of material that needs to be used to make the range and hence cuts costs,” says Wayne Cuomo, Charvet UK MD.

“Traditional elements such as using a chassis as the basis to build the range provide strength, durability and just as importantly, ease of access for servicing which helps minimise the through life costs. ONE is heavy-duty as you would expect from Charvet, but it is also packed with power and comes with a range of options including gas, electric and induction.”

The new Charvet Salamander compliments the ONE series. Featuring infrared technology to minimise smoke and odours, it boasts 3kW power, achieving an impressive 400 degC in just nine seconds or a massive 570 degC after 15 minutes use.

The ONE series is low-price, offering an excellent value for money proposition – with payback in 7 years or less!

“Charvet’s customers asked for a classic 6-burner in Charvet ONE format because they found other low-cost equipment did not stand up to the punishment of a busy kitchen,” explains Charvet CEO Pierre-Alain Augagneur.

The ONE Series 6-burner range has 6 x 6.5 kW open burners and can feature a refrigerated drawer, which can also be fitted on Charvet ONE, Pro700, 800, 900 and bespoke ranges.

Power is rated at 6 x 6.5kW for the Charvet patented ‘I. SYSTEM crown’ open burners, with pilot light and flame failure safety cut-out thermocouple.

Multizone induction range with GN2/1 electric oven under

The new Charvet Induction Multizone is available in 1-metre wide Charvet ONE modules, fitted over a 5 k/W GN2/1 Charvet electric oven.

NOTE: Charvet is one of the few manufacturers of induction technology able to mount induction directly over an oven without risk of overheating.

• Combining four independent 3.5 k/W induction hobs set under a one-piece glass top, the hobs can be operated alone or can be 'sequentially regulated’ to effectively re-create the flexible cooking power of a conventional gas or electric solid-top.

• Meeting the demand for truly multi-functional heavy-duty equipment, the Induction Multizone can perform in a similar way to the much-loved solid top – without all that wasted heat and energy!

• Pan-detection senses when the cooking pan or pans are placed on top. High heat settings in the centre and simmer settings on the outer hobs recreate the heat of a conventional solid top, making the Induction Multizone ideally suited to using a mix of various sized pans for service. It is also equally suited to heating up large stockpots for making stocks overnight, or boiling up big pans in the morning.

“Customer usage has changed,” says Charvet UK Sales Director Ian Clow.

“There is increasing pressure on manufacturers to come up with more innovative prime cooking equipment that packs big firepower but from a smaller footprint.

“Traditional Charvet ranges which last 20 years do not fit the business model for some restaurant customers, who want to change concept every five or seven years.

“What they want is powerful, flexible and modular equipment that can be delivered quickly and easily installed. And, of course, they also wanted Charvet’s traditional heavy-duty quality of build.

“Charvet equipment provides a combination of energy efficiency and pure cooking power over a long working life. We introduce new technologies such as induction and infra-red when they are proven, but the key is to ensure these are robust and provide the reliability our customers expect.”
