Deadline Extended for Chefs Looking to do Battle at New Look International Salon Culinaire 2016

With Christmas coming earlier every year, chefs have been given an extra week to put their culinary skills to the test at next year’s Hotelympia, and now have until Monday 7th December to serve up completed entry forms.

Returning to Hotelympia once again, International Salon Culinaire welcomes brand new Chef Director, Executive Chef of the Royal Garden Hotel and Vice President of the Craft Guild of Chefs, Steve Munkley, and a host of programme changes aimed at ensuring the world’s premier culinary competition stays fresh and relevant to modern hospitality. 

The 2016 event, which runs from 29th February – 3rd March 2016 at Hotelympia, ExCeL London, will see hundreds of chefs, both new and seasoned, individuals and teams, as well as front-of-house staff, competing to win medals and make their mark on the industry. Plus in recognition of the need to encourage and develop chefs at the start of their career, a new category – The Skills Theatre – aimed at apprentices and students which will include classes that will enable them to hone the skills that will be crucial to their career progression.
