The next step from the brains behind the hugely successful Secret Larder supper club, James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy, Pidgin opened in July 2015 and became an immediate hit on sleepy Wilton Way. With its wines and cocktails also changing on a weekly basis, it offers food lovers a new experience with each visit.
Head chef Elizabeth Allen and her team bring a great depth of experience to the kitchen, as well as extraordinary imagination to create a menu that is both visually stunning and immaculately conceived each week.
The dining room, designed by Ramsden and Herlihy, balances understated chic with simple, bold ideas. There are copper-trimmed tables and copper beech branches on the walls, and even the bathroom, with its landscaped wallpaper and soundtrack of crashing thunder, has been given the same attention to detail as the rest of the restaurant.
Pidgin is the sort of place you could take a date, the in-laws, or a bunch of friends to get stuck into the dangerously moreish (and potent) cocktails with. And then come back the following week.
